As of Sept. 1, 2009, the Ministry of Transportation has set the following requirements for all driving schools:
  • Each student must attend all in-class sessions in order.
  • Homework lessons must be completed and handed in to be marked.
You may want to complete the homework lessons before the course begins. Put your name, date, lesson #, and Course # on each page that you hand in to be marked. Make sure you keep a copy of your answers – if not received by Maitland Driver training you will have to redo the assignments.
Homework Lessons:
  1. Road User Behaviour
  2. Vehicle Behaviour
  3. Tires, their purpose and behaviour
  4. Automobile Lights, their history, purpose and behaviour
  5. Traffic Lights
  6. Vehicle Ergonomics
  7. Auto$mart – “A new point of view.”
  8. Operating and Owning a Vehicle
You have maximum 12 months to complete all parts of driver training or the MTO will not allow certification.

Important – You must have confirmation from Allan that you are certified.
  • Put your name and course # on your answer sheets
  • Please keep a copy of your answers
  • Either print them or email to maitland2120@gmail.com
  • They must be kept in your student file for audit purposes
  • YOU WILL BE CERTIFIED ONLINE AFTER ALL PARTS >>> IN-CLASS, HOMEWORK and IN-CAR ARE COMPLETED
  • YOU MUST BE DONE WITHIN 12 MONTHS OR NO CERTIFICATION
